Are Your Tires Safe?
Hello, everyone:
When riding a motorcycle, tires are the only point of contact with the road. However, many riders overlook the dangers of worn or shallow tire treads. Insufficient tread depth reduces tire grip, especially during rainy weather, where poor drainage can lead to hydroplaning (the tire surface floating on water). Coupled with high speeds, this significantly increases the risk of traffic accidents, ranging from minor skidding to severe crashes that could cause lifelong regret.
To ensure the safety of riders and road users, motorcyclists should regularly check tire pressure and tread depth before riding. Inspect tires for sharp objects or punctures; continuing to ride with such damage is extremely dangerous. A simple pre-ride inspection can ensure a safe journey and a secure return home.
