1. According to the Tobacco Hazards Prevention ACT, Smoking in the outdoor areas of universities is prohibited except in the designated smoking areas, and Smoking is completely prohibited indoors, if no smoking area is designated within.
Any person in violation shall be penalized by a fine of not less than NT$ 2,000 but not more than NT$ 10,000.

Due to the passive smoking in Library entrance, therefore the smoking area originally in Library transfers to Student Activities Center smoking area.
Smoking do harm to health, please preserve the environment and safety altogether.
Please don’t toss cigarette butts at your own will, but drop those into the ashtray and make sure you have extinguished the cigarette butts. Please preserve the environment and don’t talk too loudly in order to keep the campus quiet and serene. Thank you for your cooperation!!

3. Dormitory、Laundry、Academic zone、Administrative Zone are completely prohibited smoking. Please follow the rule in cooperation.

4. Whether the new buildings set up new smoking areas, it will be evaluated by all related academic and administrative branches, and be passed by the division of health committee, and after the checkup by the audit group of Tobacco Hazards Prevention of Bureau of Health to set up and publish the information. It will be reconsidered if the environment preservation is bad and the campus is bothered by loudness.
