【Student Dormitory】2025-2026 Academic Year Dormitory Individual Application(Waiting list).

【Important Reminders】

  1. Please pay attention to the application deadlines for various announcements and read the application schedule and description for each process in detail. If you miss the deadline, it won't be possible to apply for a replacement out of fairness to others.
  2. According to the school's regulations, the allocation of dormitory beds (including low-income households, below-middle-income households, students with disabilities, international students qualified for 113 academic year dormitory, and freshmen to sophomore students) is given priority. However, all applicants must complete the dormitory application within the specified time. Failure to do so will be considered as not applying for accommodation.
  3. Students who have been continuously studying for five years and are pursuing a master's degree (3+2) will be separately notified in May to apply for a special case. There is no need to submit an application for this round.

    1. 114-1: 2025/9/3-2026/1/12
    2. 114-2: 2026/2/20-2026/6/29

【The Procedure of Dormitory Application Consists of Three Steps】

Step 1.  Sign up online

  1. Sign-up will start on March 12, 2025 (Wed) at 12:00 PM and end on March 27, 2025 (Thu) at 12:00 PM.
  2. Log in using your school mailbox account and password. Please ensure that your postal or bank information is correctly filled out and that any outstanding dormitory fees have been paid. If you would like to select a roommate for the next semester, make sure to provide their student ID and phone number in the e-Portfolio system.
  3. The dormitory application for future NDHU Graduate/3+2 Program students for the 114th academic year will be announced in May.

Step 2.  Complete the application process(proceed to step 3 if you have completed step 2. Otherwise, please refer to Dormitory Application Waiting List I.)

    1. Graduate students and Undergraduate students (male/female): 2025/3/17(Mon) 12:30 - 3/19 (Wed)12:00
    2. Undergraduate students (female): 2025/3/20(Thu) 12:30 - 3/22(Sat) 12:00
    3. Undergraduate students (male): 2025/3/25(Tue) 12:30 - 3/27(The) 12:00

   2. Notes: 

  1. Please double-check the dates provided. Failure to apply on time may result in unavailability of dormitory space and will be unfair to those who have applied.
  2. Students who are given priority for dormitory allocation (middle-low-income households, low-income households, physically or mentally handicapped students, international students, and sophomores-to-be) must also follow the application procedure. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.

Step 3.  Pay the guarantee deposit (2,000 NT)

Payment period:

  1. Graduate students (male/female): 2025/3/24(Mon) 12:00 ~ 3/31(Mon)24:00
  2. Undergraduate students (male/female): 2025/3/31(Mon) 12:00 ~ 4/9(Wed) 24:00  
  3. To secure your room reservation, applicants are required to pay a deposit of $2000. Please visit a Taiwan Bank to print a receipt. Failure to pay on time will result in the loss of your reserved space.
  4. It is crucial to pay the deposit within the specified period; otherwise, your application will be cancelled, and the reserved space will be open to waiting applicants.
  5. The deposit is non-refundable except in cases of unavoidable circumstances (excluding graduation, dropping out of school, or taking an academic break).

【Dormitory Application ( waiting list I)】

  1. Application period:
    1. Graduate students (male/female)and Undergraduate students (male/female):  2025/4/21(Mon)12:00 ~ 4/23 (Wed)12:00

The principle is based on individual applications, allowing applicants to choose their preferred dormitory and room. Allocation will be done on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.

  1. Room announcement (waiting list 1): 2025/4/28(Mon) 12:00. Visit the website to see the result.
  2. Pay the deposit (waiting list 1): 2025/4/28(Mon) 12:00 ~ 5/4 (Sun)24:00  Applicants will need to pay the deposit of $2000, please visit Taiwan Bank to print the receipt, you will lose your room if you don’t pay on time.

  1. Notes
  1. The renovation of Dorm3-A is expected to be completed in the first semester of the 114th academic year.For the 114th academic year, the university will first provide Dorm3-B for accommodation applications. Students who successfully apply for Dorm3-B will be required to relocate to Dorm3-A after its completion and acceptance, following the timeline planned by the university (the renovation project is expected to be completed at the beginning of the 114-1 semester).Detailed relocation schedules and procedures will be announced separately. Please be sure to comply and cooperate with the arrangements.
  2. The allocation of dormitory beds is based on the principle of filling up the available beds. The school will make arrangements for the dormitory and beds accordingly.
  3. The dormitories will be closed during winter and summer breaks for maintenance and cleaning. Students who need accommodation during these periods can apply according to the designated schedule. A luggage storage area will be provided for residents who need to temporarily store their belongings until the break ends. It's important to follow the luggage storage rules to avoid any loss or damage to your belongings. Please note that the Living Services Division will not be responsible for any loss or damage. Store your luggage at your own risk.
  4. During the winter and summer vacations, residents of Dormitory V are required to vacate their rooms so that other students can move in. The dormitory will provide a storage area for residents to temporarily store their luggage until the end of the vacation.   
  5. The Smart Grid System for electricity payment has been implemented in Dormitory V, Dormitory VI, Dormitory VII. Residents are required to top up their Easy Card to ensure continuous use of electricity.
  6. To align with the university's "Keep Trash Off the Ground" policy, garbage and recycling bins will not be placed in public areas within the dormitories. It is the responsibility of the residents to follow the regulations and maintain a clean environment.
  7. Please read all the regulations carefully before completing dormitory application.
  8. The accommodation fees for each student dormitory are as follows:

The accommodation fee for Dormitory 1, Dormitory 6, and Dormitory 7 is $9,500/semester.

The accommodation fee for Dormitory 2. Dormitory 3, and Dormitory 4 is $7,500/semester.

The accommodation fee for Dormitory 5 is $10,700/semester.
