Q1	新生有保障住宿嗎? Do freshmen have guaranteed dormitory accommodation
A	新生和大一升大二之同學都有保障住宿。除了特殊原因外，大三、大四需抽籤，歷年成功申請宿舍的比率高。Yes, freshmen and students moving from their first to second year are guaranteed accommodation. For third- and fourth-year students, a lottery system is used, but historically the acceptance rate for dormitory applications is high.
Q2	新生保障住宿是否還需要申請嗎? Do freshmen need to apply even if dormitory accommodation is guaranteed?
A	需要，無論是否申請住宿皆需至「宿舍申請系統」完成網路"住宿申請"或"取消住宿"申請。Yes. Regardless of whether they intend to stay in the dormitory or not, all students must log into the “Dormitory Application System” to submit either a “Dormitory Application” or a “Dormitory Cancellation” request online.
Q3	新生床位如何安排? 安排在哪棟宿舍? How are dormitory beds assigned for freshmen? Which building will they be assigned to?
A	新生床位依各學系集中安排床位為原則。大學部男生新生宿舍為迎曦莊，大學部女生新生宿舍為沁月莊，均為四人冷氣套房。Dormitory beds for freshmen are allocated based on department. Male freshmen in undergraduate programs are assigned to Dorm VII, and female freshmen are assigned to Dorm VI. Both are four-person suites with air conditioning.
Q4	宿舍收費標準？ What are the dormitory fees?
A	每人住宿費每學期9,500元、宿舍網路費250元及保證金2,000元(每學年收取一次)，寒、暑假住宿需另行申請、繳費。The accommodation fee is NT$9,500 per person per semester. An additional network fee of NT$250 and a deposit of NT$2,000 (charged once per academic year) are required. Separate applications and payments are needed for winter and summer break stays.
Q5	為何收取住宿保證金? Why is a dormitory deposit required?
A	基於貫徹責任觀念、維持公平性，凡申請住宿本校學生宿舍者，不論身份為何，一律須繳交住宿保證金。保證金每學年收取一次，有效期間為一學年，申請住宿時於規定期限內繳交。學年度結束，扣除使用電費和檢查扣罰，保證金餘額予以退還。To instill a sense of responsibility and ensure fairness, all students applying for on-campus dormitories must pay the deposit regardless of their status. The deposit is collected once per academic year and is valid for one year. It must be paid within the specified deadline during the application process. At the end of the academic year, the remaining deposit will be refunded after deducting electricity charges and any penalties from room inspections.
