Participants in Appraisal Meetings

1. The appraisal meeting must notify the involved parties to attend.
2. If a party is deceased or unable to attend due to special circumstances, family members or authorized representatives with supporting documentation may attend. If neither the party, representative, nor family can attend, the committee may rely on statements or materials from other relevant individuals. Major or unclear cases are exceptions.
3. Legal guardians, spouses, direct relatives, or individuals within three degrees of kinship may act as assistants to the involved party. For fatal traffic accidents, representatives from public interest organizations may act as assistants. Assistants may provide verbal or written statements during appraisal meetings.
